Mavili House

RCTECH renovated a three-level interwar stone house in Palaio Psychiko for a family of four. The monolithic exterior was largely preserved, with the only major addition being a new rear living room volume, discreetly distinguished through materials and color. A glazed connector with a metal bookcase brings daylight into the center of the plan.

Warm, earthy materials define the interiors—chestnut wood carpentry, timber flooring, mint accents, and black metal details. Social spaces (kitchen, dining, living) occupy the rear of the ground floor and open to the garden and pool, while more private uses—study and bedrooms—remain within the original footprint and are accessed via the preserved wooden staircase.
